This position is the HR departmental lead and point of contact on all matters relating to HRIS. Additionally, this position is responsible for all design, development, implementation, maintenance, upgrade and support of HR applications.

The HRIS Specialist is the point of contact for HR process reengineering and improvement and requirements definition. Develops, maintains and supports variety of HR-related reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation in support of all applications. Delivers end-user technology support and training, as appropriate.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years experience with leading-edge applications/systems development. Working knowledge of leading edge HRIS. In-depth knowledge and experience with analyzing, designing, and developing systems and applications. Minimum 3 years project management experience. Thorough knowledge and experience with MS Office templates, scripts, and pivot tables. Thorough knowledge of advanced MS Word, MS Access, SQL, and advanced MS Excel. Knowledge of/experience with Showcase Strategy, Visual Basic, and Microsoft reports. Experience with SharePoint or other internet solutions. Strong planning and analytical skills. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with training delivery.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Resource management, MIS, computer science, or related degree. Knowledge and experience with VBA, VB6.0, Java Script, HTML. 3 to 5 years Human Resource generalist or specialist experience. Experience with in-house HR and payroll systems. Experience with variety of tax applications, including tax equalization. Knowledge of organizational development.

Salary
$71,300 - $85,100
