Summary Description
Provides administrative support to the Director of the Office of Communications. Schedules appointments and maintains calendar, makes travel arrangements, handles offsite departmental meeting logistics, manages correspondence and maintains files and logs. Facilitates the flow of business among Communications staff, and provides secretarial support to the managers as needed. Prepares the fiscal year budget and the six-month update. Working with the department and Legal services manages consultant process, including preparing contracts and arranging invoice payments. Participates in special projects as needed.

Qualifications
This position requires significant experience which demonstrates maturity, leadership skills, problem solving skills, independent judgment, adherence to close deadlines, ability to work well under pressure, analytical focus, attention to detail and discretion in confidential matters and excellent facility with budgets. Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills and must be able to handle communications tactfully and effectively. Must have the ability to work well with others as well as the ability to prioritize work assignments, delegate effectively, and function independently. Must be able to follow through on assignments with minimum level of supervision. Position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation. Advanced knowledge and facility with applications such as Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related calendar programs. Knowledge of Internet navigation and search functions. Requires a minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Assistant or in a related function.

Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS or combination of equivalent experience and education. Knowledge of the Foundation's resources and operations. PowerPoint preferred.

Salary
$48,600 - $58,000
