Karin Krslovic is a member of the Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice team. As a grants manager she has supported advancing the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people; reducing HIV/AIDS discrimination and exclusion; and promoting electoral reform and democratic participation. She has also managed grant-making efforts to promote philanthropy, reform civil and criminal justice systems, and increase civic and political participation. She is a member of the foundation’s internal Working Group on Philanthropy. For three years she also led the foundation’s Good Neighbor Committee.
Karin has been with the foundation for 15 years. Previously, she worked as a consultant and adviser to the National Foundation for Civil Society Development in Croatia and is on the board of advisors of Kids’ S.P.A.C.E., a program providing affordable, reliable, and enriching child care to the community. She was invited to join the Annual Conference Planning Committee for the European Foundation Centre (Brussels) and helped found the EFC’s Next Generation Programme.
Karin holds a bachelor’s in business management from Manhattanville College and a certificate in grant making and foundations from New York University.
