Thilá do Nascimento is a program associate in the Brazil Office, working to advance an alternative vision to safety, erasing violence, and inequality mitigation in Brazil. She supports the strategy implementation with research, data analysis, and knowledge management.
Previously, she worked for a civil society organization on productive inclusion for youth and people with disabilities. Prior to that, Thilá worked in the private sector in management and auditing. Earlier in her career, she was a research assistant on a project looking at Indigenous peoples’ access to human rights in an international migration context. She completed an internship at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Brazil.
Thilá earned her master’s degree in development studies from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in France, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a bachelor's degree in international relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.
